The Sub-Base
50-75mm layer of Type 1 MOT is compacted to create a solid base for your artificial grass. Next, a 25mm layer of granite dust 0-6mm is levelled out and compacted to create a firm surface and allow for drainage. Perimeter edging is installed to provide a fixing point for the artificial grass. We offer two options for edging, either pressure treated timber or composite.
Weed Membrane
A layer of weed membrane is then installed over the sub-base to prevent any future growth appearing from beneath your artificial grass.
The Artificial Grass
We offer a large range of high quality, artificial grass to work with your lifestyle and budget. The selected artificial grass product is carefully trimmed to suit the area and then fixed down to the previously installed perimeter edging. Finally, we brush a layer of kiln dried sand over your grass to ensure a natural-looking finish and guaranteed customer satisfaction.
